I Just Don't Feel Like It

Have you ever struggle with doing something that God's word says...but you just don't feel like it?

Sometimes we put too much emphasis on our feelings.

We place our feelings as King.

If we don't feel like it, then we will wait until we do feel like it...that will make it good.

Jesus, in the garden, cried out to His Father to take away the cup.

He didn't feel like it.

But He showed His perfect obedience and faithfulness in submiting His will to His Fathers', even though He didn't feel like it.

He asked..."if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me"...and then went on to say,
"nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." [Matt 26:39]

Jesus is King...and not your feelings!

If you don't feel like it...too bad...do it anyway!

I'm sure that whatever it is your struggling with is dwarfed in comparison to knowing you are about to suffer the wrath of God [the wrath of the Lake of Fire].

Jesus was faithful...and His faithfulness is our salvation...and our strength.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith.
