Has Anyone Seen My Glasses?

Some people need glasses to see things up close...for an example...to read with...

Others need glasses to see things far off in the distance...for example...road signs.

May God give our culture...especially His Church...a new prescription for glasses!!

We need some good telescopic lenses...please!

Jesus warns His church not to be conformed to the unbelieving culture around them...instead they need to put their glasses on...they need to have their minds [vision] shaped and molded by God's word.

Jesus warned people against "blind guides"...if you follow them...eventually you will both end up in the ditch.

Without God's word we are all dim-sighted! If we choose to leave our glasses off...and follow the world...expect the Humpty Dumpty syndrome.

Does a feminist really care about what happens in our culture...50, 100, 200 years from now? But honest...think about it? She hates men...she refuses to have her body "ruined" by bearing some "mans" offspring...so she has no personal...look in the eye representative of the future.

How about the alternative lifestyle guy or girl? Hmmm, no matter how hard they may try...xx + xx= 00, or xy+xy= 00...which also means they have no vested interest in the future.

How about the millions of other self-consumed people in our culture...who live for money, pleasure and ease...you know...the people who have the bumpersticker on their 140,000 RV that reads "I am spending my childrens inheritance"...do they care what our nation will look like in 100 years...obviously not...they just care about spending everything they've earned...so as to leave their children with nothing!

Christian's need to move away from the world's thinking...and its peer pressure tactics!

The Church needs to listen to the voice of her King...King Jesus! She needs to start have more children...both physical and spiritual...

Almost everyone says they want to live in a free society...well...Islam has its own definition of what a "free" society is...

FREE from infidels!!

FREE from anyone who disagrees with Islamic rule!

Do not judge Islam by how they act as a minority...look to countries where THEY rule!

Look to their religious book to see what their agenda is...

Look at some of the commands from Islam's religious books...

Sura (8:12) - I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them

Sura (9:123) - O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness

Sura (5:33) - The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement

Qur'an (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Qur'an (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Qur'an (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allahâ¦"

Qur'an (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..."

Qur'an (8:15) - "O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them.

Qur'an (8:59-60) - "And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy."

Qur'an (9:14) - "Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace..."

Qur'an (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

Qur'an (9:41) - "Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew."

Qur'an (9:73) - "O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination."

Qur'an (47:4) - "So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners,"

And finally, my personal favourite:

Qur'an (61:4) - "Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way"


As Christian's we are to bring in God's kingdom by love...by submitting to God's ways...and trusting that He will go before us.
